Sporting Viair’s most heavy-duty compressor, the 5485K is our most powerful 5-gallon onboard air system. It’s equipped to handle even the biggest and loudest horns we carry easily, as well as have enough air for any other moderate pneumatic uses.

The Horn Air 5485K comes equipped with a 5-gallon tank features seven ½ inch ports and one ¾ inch port, making it perfect for high flow applications and preventing bottleneck issues. Strategic placement of the ports allows you to be able to install your drain cock on the bottom-most port on the tank for optimal draining no matter how the air tank is oriented.

At the heart of the Horn Air 5485K is Viair’s 485K compressor. No longer do you have to choose between a fast fill rate or a longer duty cycle. With a 100% duty cycle at 200 PSI and able to refill our 5-gallon tank from 165-200 PSI in just over 2 minutes, the 485K is the best of both worlds and stands out as the premier compressor to get with any of our kits. Not only is the 485K insanely powerful, but it is also the quietest compressor in its class and only pulls 28 amps!

Our HornAir systems come complete with all necessary fittings, including a Viair 110/150 Pressure Switch with a built-in relay, safety blow-off, air gauge, and drain cock. Unlike many other onboard air systems, ours comes with 10 and 18 gauge wire, as well as a complete wiring kit including a fuse holder. This takes out the guesswork and helps ensure your system is installed correctly. All of our kits are also backed by a year manufacturer's warranty as well as lifetime tech support!
